FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are a few of the most common questions that pop up about our .NET and Java coding boot camps. If you have any questions not covered here, feel free to email info@claimacademystl.com directly!
Can I get a job?
Absolutely. Claim Academy School Career Services team will help you to land a job. We’ll help you to build your resume, optimize your Linkedin profile, conduct technical and behavioral interviews, teach you how to network in our biweekly fireside chats, employer events and alumni nights. We’ll even introduce you to employers in our network and hiring partners. We’ll guide you through how to interview the right way, negotiate your salary, apply to jobs through our weekly job boards, optimize your job search using AI and track your job search. We provide up to 6 months post graduation job support.
Are coding bootcamps worth it?
You gain real-world experience under the instruction of top industry professionals. Every student has to work on their capstone project, and they will present them in front of prospective employers who we invite.
What are the requirements or experience do I need to be admitted to Claim Academy?
How does Claim Academy compare to free non profit apprenticeship programs and instructor led video that promises to place you at a job even with limited training time?
There are many free resources and organizations that can help you learn any discipline, but given the complexity of the topic they can be difficult to navigate independently and waste your time with inadequate preparation. These free resources run on donations which can not be compared with our approach to learning and support. Our courses are built with industry experts to provide structure and community required for success. Our students rave about the camaraderie they establish with instructors, job coaches, with each other and alumni. Valuable networking opportunities with employers when it comes to job search.
The rigorous accreditation and governmental process needed to be certified to operate by Claim Academy can not be compared to free programs who are not accredited or approved to operate. Free doesn’t carry much weight in the business world.
How do I get a job after the training?
Can I do this training online, or is it only in person?
We have both on-site & online training bootcamps. And offer both part-time and full-time online. We provide the same rigorous training programs to help students learn and develop the skills needed.
Is there a part-time option or all online?

This is a very rare occurance. However,we have a refund policy in place if for any reason this comes up. This is risk free. The student may cancel their Enrollment Agreement within three working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) of the date signed by the Student and Claim Academy. Enrollment Agreements cancelled will allow the Student to receive a full refund. After the three-day cancellation period, any student who withdraws for any reason before an immersive bootcamp start date or up to one week into the program receives a refund, except for the non-refundable $500 deposit.
Refunds after the first week will be pro-rated based on the date of withdrawal in the following amounts:
1) Subject to the three-day cancellation policy.
2) For Week 5 for the 9-Week programs, a 25% refund is only available through Wednesday of Week 5. After Wednesday of Week 5, no refunds will be given.
