Job Description:
As the GIS DevOps Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful launch and management of our 14-week GIS Software Development course. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program, from curriculum development to student support and industry partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Collaborate with curriculum developers and industry experts to design a comprehensive and up-to-date curriculum for the GIS Software Development course.
- Instructional Leadership: Lead a team of instructors and guest lecturers to deliver high-quality instruction and hands-on training to students.
- Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students throughout their learning journey, ensuring their success and satisfaction with the program.
- Industry Engagement: Forge strategic partnerships with GIS industry leaders, government agencies, and tech companies to enhance program relevance and create opportunities for student internships and job placements.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, gather feedback from stakeholders, and implement continuous improvements to enhance program effectiveness.
- Budget Management: Oversee the program budget, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure financial sustainability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience in GIS software development, DevOps, or related roles
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in GIS technology
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional design is a plus
