Job Summary

Claim Academy is seeking a Military Education Admission Specialist to support active-duty service members, army reservists,guards, veterans, and transitioning military personnel in accessing Credentialing Assistance and other military education benefits. This role is responsible for guiding prospective military students through the admissions process, educating them about funding options, and ensuring a smooth enrollment experience into our cybersecurity and coding training programs.

Key Responsibilities

Military Admissions & Outreach

  • Act as the primary point of contact for military personnel interested in Claim Academy programs through Credentialing Assistance (CA) and other funding sources.
  • Educate service members on credentialing pathways, eligibility requirements, and the application process for Credentialing Assistance (CA).
  • Guide prospective students through the admissions process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person information sessions, webinars, and workshops on military education benefits and career transition opportunities.
  • Build relationships with Army Transition Assistance Program (TAP) managers, Education Service Officers (ESOs), and Military Base Education Centers to increase awareness of Claim Academy’s training programs.

Enrollment & Student Support

  • Assist students in selecting the right IT and cybersecurity certifications based on their Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) or career goals.
  • Provide step-by-step guidance on completing Army COOL funding applications and ensure students meet required deadlines.
  • Track prospective students in CRM software or similar and follow up consistently via phone, email, and SMS.
  • Ensure students are fully enrolled before their class start date and maintain communication throughout their training.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Stay up to date with Army Credentialing Assistance policies, DOD regulations, and military education trends.
  • Maintain compliance with all military education funding guidelines and assist with audits as needed.
  • Track student enrollments and provide reports on military student engagement, enrollment trends, and funding utilization.

Relationship Building & Networking

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key military personnel, including Army COOL administrators, Veterans Affairs representatives, and corporate partners hiring veterans in tech roles.
  • Attend military job fairs, transition summits, and workforce development events to promote Claim Academy programs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop military-specific outreach materials and campaigns.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent military experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in military admissions, education counseling, workforce development, or veteran services.
  • Knowledge of Army Credentialing Assistance, GI Bill, VR&E, WIOA, and other military funding sources.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with military personnel effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, meet enrollment goals, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience using CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar), MS Office Suite, and virtual meeting tools (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.).
  • Military background (active duty, veteran, or military spouse) is a plus but not required.
