Position: Sales Development Intern (In-Person)

Hours: Part-Time / Full-Time (Flexible)

Overview:
Claim Academy, a leading Technology and Cybersecurity School in St. Louis, is looking for a driven
and dynamic Sales Development Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible
for managing the entire admissions lifecycle, from initial outreach to successful student admission.
This role is perfect for someone who is a people person with excellent communication skills and a
competitive spirit. Outstanding interns will be considered for full-time roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initial Outreach & Qualification:
○ Conduct initial qualification calls and emails with potential applicants to gauge
interest and assess their fit for Claim Academy programs.
○ Serve as the first point of contact for prospects by answering inquiries and providing
program information.
○ Manage leads and track interactions using a CRM system. - Admissions Process Management:
○ Guide applicants through the entire admissions lifecycle from initial inquiry,
application submission, and interviews to enrollment.
○ Schedule and conduct video meetings and in-person sessions to answer questions
and provide details about the school’s programs.
○ Collaborate with the admissions and marketing teams to ensure a smooth and
efficient application process.

- Local Outreach & Networking:
○ Engage in local outreach efforts to recruit students through events, partnerships,
and networking opportunities.
○ Represent Claim Academy at local community events, job fairs, and other in-person
opportunities to connect with potential applicants. - Competitive and Results-Oriented:
○ Actively work toward meeting or exceeding enrollment targets and outreach goals.
○ Stay motivated by a competitive environment, focusing on achieving measurable
results in admissions.
Qualifications:
● Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or
recent graduate).
● Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with applicants and key
stakeholders.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● People Person: Must enjoy working with others, building relationships, and helping
applicants succeed.
● Competitive Attitude: Motivated by goals, targets, and measurable success.
● Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
● Basic understanding of technology and cybersecurity (preferred but not required).
Preferred Skills:
● Experience in sales, customer service, or recruitment is a plus.
● Familiarity with CRM systems or sales tracking software.
● Interest in technology education or the cybersecurity field.
Work Environment:
● In-Person: This role requires in-person work at the Claim Academy campus in St. Louis, MO,

with occasional travel for local outreach events.

for virtual meetings or outreach as needed.
